Run the following command in a terminal window:

sudo apt-get install subversion

Run the following commands in a terminal window:

su
emerge subversion

Run the following command in a terminal window:

su
yum install subversion

Download the latest Subversion image from the OS X maintainer's website, mount and install the application.

Download the latest SVN setup.exe file from the developer's website and install it.
